Summer Bible Camp VBS 2024

This year’s Bible Camp, ‘Diving into friendship with Jesus’ was another fantastic experience to our parish community.

On behalf of our pastor Fr. Castro and the St. Junipero Serra Parish Staff, I would like to extend a thank you to our parishioners for your prayers and to all those who participated in one way or another for your faith-filled energy and hard work during our VBS week! We know that parents, campers, teen Counselors, volunteers and the VBS team always look forward to this yearly summer event.

We also want to thank in a special way St. Jeanne Jugan Parish, Enfield, for their generous donation of underwater decorations!

If you have not done so already – you can see a detailed flyer on our Facebook page with all of the fun and faith-filled lessons the kids learned. Included in these lessons, were bible stories and the stories of 4 incredible Saints. Blessed Carlo Acutis, St. John Bosco, Saint Mary Magdalene, and the patroness of one of our churches, Saint Margaret Mary!

On the final day, Father Castro celebrated the Mass with us. At the end of the mass, the children performed one of the songs they had learned during the camp.
